Shannon Edmonds is the Director of Governmental Relations for the Texas District and County Attorneys Association (TDCAA), the largest statewide association of prosecutors in the nation. Mr. Edmonds serves as a liaison between prosecutors and the Texas Legislature on criminal justice, juvenile justice, and government representation issues.
Mr. Edmonds has degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas School of Law. He was a prosecutor in Travis County, Texas, from 1993 to 2000, then served as an assistant general counsel to Governor George W. Bush and as a policy advisor to Lt. Governor Bill Ratliff before joining TDCAA in 2002, where he has worked for the past nine legislative sessions.
